In this episode I respond to some questions a listener had. 1. What does covenant relationships between humans look like? 2. What does it look like to bear one another burdens appropriately and effectively, and in next weeks episode, I will answer their third questions, what are covenant relationships (covenant theology)?
Relationships in the church are much more than we perceive them to be. The word “fellowship” has lost it’s weight amongst the Christian community. Most local churches are not building covenant relationships. Join me as I discuss all this in todays most recent episode.
“The church needs to build a common vision of what worship is and what she is gathering to do on Sunday and scattering to do on Monday.” What is the common gaol and purpose of the church and her mission? This week I discuss just that.
Trump’s ban on transgenders in the military has been a hot topic and it serves as a teaching point for the past two episodes. Paul answers to these cultural situations is in Romans chapter 1. Check out Ben Shapiro’s heated conversation. Also in this episode, so correction and responses to some more really bad hermeneutics. Check out the Blasphemy Challenge video here. #TransgenderDoesntExist
When we address cultural issues we run into a hurdle, and that hurdle is defining terms. We live in a culture that believes it is its own God and therefore individuals can decide for themselves what’s best. This is not how scripture works. We need to let God define what is best for our lives, because whether we like it or not, he is eternally correct.
