I recently watched a documentary on Netflix called Minimalism. It’s about this movement led by two guys, Joshua Millburn and Ryan Nicodemus. What I gathered from the documentary and their website was impactful. Minimalism is about adding value to your life and finding freedom from less. This idea, this lifestyle screams Gospel (good news) to the believer.
What do you think of when you think of the word “theology”? For me, thoughts of scholars, books, rich vocabulary, and The Knowledge of the Holy by A.W. Tozer come rushing into my head. But is theology merely scholarly work? Is the importance of it to have great outwardly knowledge? By no means! Theology is the way in which we know and express God. It influences our relationships, worldview, and our worship.
