Should the Church be Focused on Evangelism?

“19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,” – Matthew 28:19

When we read the words of Jesus in this passage, where do we place the emphasis? I would submit to you that there are two themes in this verse. One is, “Go…and make disciples of all nations,” and the other is , “baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” While both themes are good, there are some practical implications that affect how we worship God when we emphasize one theme over the other. Early last week the “Ask Pastor John” podcast released an episode titled, “Is There a Place for Female Professors at Seminary?” There has been quite a few response to this particular episode of the podcast.
