What do you think of when you think of the word “theology”? For me, thoughts of scholars, books, rich vocabulary, and The Knowledge of the Holy by A.W. Tozer come rushing into my head. But is theology merely scholarly work? Is the importance of it to have great outwardly knowledge? By no means! Theology is the way in which we know and express God. It influences our relationships, worldview, and our worship.
I am all about building the Kingdom of God with a correct world view. Recently I discovered these two theologies that have occupied my mind for some time now. These theologies teach an improper kingdom building process and a distorted un-biblcal, man-centered world view. In this post I discuss why and how we should answer. I’m often viewed as the guy who always has to have a deep theological discussion on just about anything (and I kinda like that view). I wanna find the theology in everything. But somethings just aren’t worth it. Somethings are not “a hill to die on” so to speak.
Theology is everywhere, especially in what we watch, and one of my favorite shows “Lost” is no exception. Biblical parallels and symbols can be found all over this show and one character in particular highlights our lives as believers rather well.
